A Handwritten Letter
from Hadhrat Mirza Tahir Ahmad, Khalifatul Masih IV
On one occasion I received a handwritten letter from Hadhrat Mirza Tahir Ahmad, Khalifatul Masih IV, may Allah’s peace and blessings be with him.
I wrote many letters to Hudhur and this I got many replies, but to get a handwritten letter is so wonderful that it is breath-taken. To know that he cared so much to comfort me in times of distress that he even wrote to me himself, by hand, instead of sending the usual typed letter, moved my heart, strengthened my faith and made me pray even more from my side as well. May Allah reward him in abundance with His choicest blessings for his kindness and care for other human beings.
He often wrote in a poetical way, so even in this hand-written letter, and to know that he prayed for me gave me new strength and courage and made me even more firm in my decision to serve Ahmadiyyat, the true Islam, till the end of my days.
